[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) says it will be the first automaker to offer HD Radio technology as a standard feature across its entire product line.
VCNA President and CEO Doug Speck said the move would be a huge benefit for buyers and that the new standardized HD Radio receivers would be appearing in 2010 and 2011 models.
A number of manufacturers currently offer HD Radio as factory optional, dealer optional or standard in select product lines only. Among these are Audi, BMW, Ford-Lincoln-Mercury, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Mini, Scion, Volkswagon and Mercedes.
